• F&M Bank is part of a network of 600+ banks that must meet specific, stringent financial requirements to participate in the CDARS program.
• Your funds are placed in CDs that are technically issued by other member banks in increments of $100,000 or less so that your principal and interest are protected.
• Terms of all CDs range from 4 weeks to 3 years
• Current F&M CD rates are paid
• No customer fees
• Minimum investment is $10,000
• Maximum investment in this product is up to an aggregate of $30 million
• Interest can be paid monthly or at maturity
• One monthly statement itemizes all certificate investments
• One tax statement per year includes all CD investments
